NEW WINE

John 2:1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:2:2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.2:3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.2:4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.2:5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.2:6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.2:7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.2:8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.2:9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,2:10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. 

We are living in the last days, when there is a need for the sweetness of the Spirit of God. The above passage is the typical present situation of the Church; a place of tradition and emptiness, where the usual has been exhausted. The church is still struggling with methods and status quo.
The Lord want to serve His best in these days. He wants to fill our emptiness with a new wine, a special brew, not by men. A move that can't be predicted and void of the norms. Every and anybody, who is empty and available will meet the last days outpouring of the Spirit of God.
The six water pots signifies the condition of man; six is the number of man. On the sixth day God created man. But these men at this point were empty, lacking the word and the Spirit of God. These six pots are empty, waiting for the regular use of traditional rite of purification.
The Master said, "fill the pots with water". Also take note that, traditionally, those pots were kept there for traditional purification. But the Lord did not come for traditions!
The celebrants didn't have to spare a farthing for this sweet wine. The free becoming the best!
55:1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. (Isaiah 55:1)
Remember when His disciples plucked corn on a Sabbath? He answered the people, who sought to accuse him, saying, " I am the Lord of the Sabbath..."
Luke 6:1-6
The end time move of God must be a time when the word of God must be sought after, a time where the hunger for his word must be our outmost desire.
The Holy Spirit cannot be separated from the word of God. The word of God and His Spirit are inseparable. Where the word goes, the Spirit manifests.
May the Lord meet us very ready for the imminent revival. I do not know your heart's yearning, but God does not work will filled vessels. He's looking for empty vessels He will fill with His Spirit.
Mathew 5:6 "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled."
We must come to a place of absolute hunger, triggered by a sincere heart. We are yet to see the replica of Acts 2:1-4 in our present day Pentecostalism. Something was different in the life of the early church, that is missing in this generation, despite the fact that this generation shall usher in the coming of the Lord Jesus.
The spiritual hunger that led to the move of God in the book of Acts is conspicuously missing.
