HOW TO PUT AWAY SATAN

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7
Satan is such a stubborn foe and must be resisted in everywhere possible. The Bible says; if we resist him, he will flee. We shall look into some ways to resist him or put him off.

1. Speak the Word of God in truth .
John 1:5, “And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”

2. Be courageous
Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

3. Pray Constantly.
“Prayer is a shelter to the soul, a sacrifice to God and a scourge to the devil.” So pray and pray constantly. Tell God of your own inability to detect and respond to temptation; tell him that you are utterly dependent upon his grace; tell God that Christ’s blood has been applied to you; tell God that you are his child; ask God to deliver you from temptation for the glory of his name.

4. The Blood of Jesus
Revelations 12:11, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

5. Bear the fruit of the Spirit
Galatians 5:22, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23:Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

These and many more ways are available for us to put away and frustrate the works and incursions of Satan in our lives.

Ten People You Shouldn’t Relate With

The Bible tells us to avoid certain types of people. People are necessary in our lives, but not everyone is.

In Psalms chapter one and the first verse has a lot to say concerning a certain kind of persons we shouldn’t let into our sphere.

Psalms 1:1, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.”
1. Ungodly
2. Sinners
3. Scornful

1Sam. 17:28, “And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab's anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle.”
4. Discouragers
5. Judgmental
6. Angered by your guts

Gen. 37:19, “And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh. 20:Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.”
7. Dream killers
8. Conspirators

Proverbs 13:20, “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.”
9. Fools
10. Discord sower

It is important we avoid these such people if we intend to reach our goals in life. They are toxic and poisonous to destinies.
