It Shall Come to Pass: Believe

Life often takes us through winding paths—filled with twists and turns, highs and lows, days of joy and moments of sorrow. But one unchanging truth remains: everything is subject to time. As Ecclesiastes 3:1 declares,

“To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the heaven.”

This truth reminds us that nothing on earth is permanent—neither pain nor prosperity, neither trials nor triumphs.

I’m speaking directly to you. Yes, you. Life may have thrown rocks your way. It may seem as though the weight of adversity is pressing in from every side, threatening to crush your spirit. You may even feel like giving up. But listen—*this too shall pass.

Your sorrow is not your end. Your tears will not last forever. God promises in Psalm 30:5,

“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.”

The question now is: What do you see? What is the picture of the future you hold in your heart? Because what you perceive is what you are empowered to receive. Faith begins with vision—vision rooted in God’s promises.

Let us also consider the power of the mind. Your mind is the theatre of life—the battleground where decisions are made, where hope is either cultivated or crushed. It is with your mind that you choose to believe or disbelieve, to rise or to fall.

So start by clearing your mind of fear and defeat, just as an artist prepares a blank canvas before creating a masterpiece. Then begin to paint, with bold and hopeful strokes, the future you desire—a future aligned with God’s Word.

Romans 12:2 urges us:

“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

Speak life. Envision your breakthrough. Take bold steps in faith. Know this with confidence: the pain you're feeling today is a setup for the glory that’s coming tomorrow.

As Isaiah 60:1 proclaims,

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.”

It shall come to pass. Not by your might, nor by your power, but by the Spirit of the Lord (Zechariah 4:6).
